FACTS ABOUT THE VITAMIN D A.K.A SUNLIGHT VITAMIN

Most of us think that early morning 7 am-9 am sun gives us vitamin D in the body, that ideology is very wrong. The sun has rays called ultraviolet rays which help convert cholesterol in our skin to vitamin D-3 and that's when the receptors in our skin produces the vitamin D. The sun only helps by giving it's ultraviolet rays to help in this process of conversion. It is also important to always stay hydrated so as not to dry up the skin cells in order to make them ever ready to act when the conversion process takes place.
